Oh People is a new jazz quintet, consisting of some of Denmark's most exciting young musicians. The five musicians have played cross-country for many years, but have now finally joined forces in a love project that celebrates the many facets of jazz. Their debut album: 'Part-Time Elegance' consists of new original compositions deeply roots in the jazz tradition, and with this album they explore the classic jazz quintet format in a personal way.
You can expect a musical experience of the highest quality when this quintet gives its all. The band finds inspiration in legendary jazz icons such as Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, The Jazz Messengers and many others. With their diverse harmonic, melodic and rhythmic expressions, listeners will be taken on an emotional journey through a wide range of impressions.
