Description
Deliciously engaging, languorous, smoothly beautiful dub-engineered electronica
Finally, the Observer's debut is in print again: when 'Seen' first dropped in 2001 (on the sadly defunct Different Drummer label), it was hailed as one of the lushest, deepest, most caringly crafted dub-a-tronic exploration ever released, a cunning experiment in melodic instrumental dub that, without losing its edge, made for the most gorgeously seductive meditative listening experience. While tracks from it have graced many a compilation (including Dorfmeister's Different Drummer retrospective mix and Tom Middleton's 'The Sound of the Cosmos'), the album itself has been unavailable since 2003, a situation rightly corrected by this re-release.
