Kid Thomas was born 1934 in Sturgis, MS. He moved to Chicago in 1941, where he learned harp and played together with Muddy Waters and Elmore James In 1960 Kid Thomas moved to L.A., becoming the best harp blower on the coast and known for his wild harp blowing.
