In the 1980s Nitzinger formed the band PM with ELP's Carl Palmer and released the album '1:PM' on Ariola Records. Two years later he joined Alice Cooper, co-writing and performing Cooper's 'Zipper Catches Skin' among others. Nitzinger went on hiatus for a couple of years and returned to recording again in 1997. Four years later Nitzinger and his band played the 'Rockpalast'. John still remembers: 'It was a great and responsive crowd. I gave a Nitzinger T-shirt to a small child who seemed to love it.' In 2007, Nitzinger released the noteworthy and critically acclaimed album 'Kiss Of The Mudman' and in 2012 he wrote new songs and completed two albums - 'Bloodrock 2013' with Bloodrock lead vocalist Jim Rutledge and 'Revenge' with former AC/DC lead singer Dave Evans.
