Description
ROUGH, TOUGH, THEY DON'T MAKE ALBUMS LIKE THIS ANYMORE, HARD DETROIT ELECTRIC BLUES
A classic Detroit blues band session reissued for the 25th anniversary.
This is a blues band out of Mississippi that stands alongside the best that Chicago blues could offer.
Superb original songs dealing with life in the ghetto, sex, survival, and other themes of living real life.
Clarence Butler played a mean blues harp and sang - and Curtis Butlerplayed a 'Jimmy Rogers' style rhythm.
Here is a review of the CD when it was originally released in the mid 1990s
The Butler Twins turned in a fine debut with I Ain't Gonna Worry About Tomorrow. The pair specialize in hard-driving urban blues, straight out of the '60s. There are no innovations here, but there don't need to be, since the duo slams home this blistering electric blues with passion and energy.
