German SkaPunk legend Wisecracker finally present their best of album 20 Years: 20 Songs

Since 1996 Wisecracker invite the whole world to their ultimate SkaPunk party. Twenty years ago it started in Hanover/Germany as a big fun - presented by a wild bunch of musicians for a small but loyal fan base, but over the years Wisecracker became an authority in the international SkaPunk scene. The six musicians around charismatic singer Alexander 'Mendez' Mende played gigs in Sweden, Spain, Russia, England, USA and of course in Mexico, their second home base. And so, to celebrate their 20th anniversary, they went on tour in Mexico in July 2016. But not only Mexicans love Wisecräcker 's special mix of fat guitar riffs and booming brass section beyond barriers of language or style. The songs are Spanish, English or German and musically influenced by various cultures. The offbeat-maniacs from Wisecracker present a mixture of catchy own compositions and cover songs that show their special kind of humour (i.e. 'Final Countdown' by Europe or 'Porque te vas?' by Jeanette). For their Mexico tour in 2016 they chose „No tengo dinero', a song that every Mexican child knows, gave it the special Wisecracker twist and published it as exclusive download single.
