The compositions unfold as exotic neo-shamanic objects, situated at the crossroads of trance, incantation, and ceremonial gesture. The collaboration between John McKusick and Guillaume Cazalet, alongside Cazalet's solo works, gives rise to syncretic pieces drawing from a wide arc of influences, from Tibetan and Indian ritual traditions to Moroccan and Indonesian sonic cultures. These works are structured as hypnotic trances, where repetition, texture, and resonance dissolve linear listening in favor of altered states. The meeting between Dimitar Dimitrov and Guillaume Cazalet takes a more explicitly magical form. Their collaboration centers on the incantation of the 8th Enochian Key, reinterpreted through a sonic language inspired by the Bön tradition, transforming spoken formula into a charged, ceremonial act. The project takes its name from Arrokoth, a trans-Neptunian object located in the Kuiper Belt. Visited by NASA's New Horizons probe on January 1, 2019, Arrokoth is the most distant and most primitive object in the Solar System ever explored by a spacecraft.
