LINCOLN PORTRAIT is Douglas Jimerson's twentieth album. It is a biographical exploration of Abraham Lincoln, who had a great passion for music and the arts. Lincoln's love of the performing arts ultimately contributed to his untimely death. Jimerson reveals on this album both the contemplative and the playful music that were favorites of Abraham Lincoln. The album includes 'Hail to the Chief' and 'Taps' played by Gods and Generals star Jari Villanueva on Civil War period bugle. Jimerson sings and performs on guitar with the Civil War Comrades.
