Brazil's epic medieval fantasy metallers DRAGONHEART (formed in 1997) are now back with their fourth album, The Battle Sanctuary and with a new line up and a noticeably refreshed sound which however stays true to the band's origins.While DRAGONHEART's main musical style is Heavy Metal with some subtle doomy touches, the band members' main influence is fast-paced 80's Heavy Metal but they successfully manage to incorporate some other of their influences into their music such as classical and medieval music.DRAGONHEART have performed live numerous times and have been the opening act for bands such as Hammerfall, Nightwish, Grave Digger, U.D.O, Primal Fear and others while they have participated in all Editions of the Brazilian Metal Fest (BMU). DRAGONHEART have also been repeatedly voted in various Brazilian metal media as one of the four best bands from Brazil (falling behind bands such as Sepultura, Angra and Krisiun).
