Attentive to multimedia and exploring connections with other expressive forms, the two Ruins often collaborated with artists from different disciplines, creating sound-video installations in art galleries and recording one of the first art albums, Marea, in 1984. Through their research, Ciranna and Pizzin developed innovative solutions that Ruins later incorporated into their more accessible and internationally recognized productions.
