Re-release of the self-titled debut album from 1999, one of the most intriguing gothic metal releases of all times.
The self-titled album by Sculpture, a German group formed in 1997, is certainly one of the most unique treasures hidden in the realm of gloom and despair. The LP featured a thrilling mixture of gothic and heavy metal, delivered in the finest proportions - the eleven tracks featured on 'Sculpture' captured all the crucial elements of both genres and forged them into perfection. Sculpture was formed by guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Lothar 'Lotte' Forst, just after he left his previous group - Crematory. Forst wrote all the music, co-wrote the lyrics and co-produced the entire album, making it pretty much a one-man effort. This exclusive re-edition brings back one of the most intriguing gothic metal releases of all times, and a true gem for connoisseurs of pure musical darkness. New digipak edition, limited to numerated 2000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on golden disc.
