The Stockholm Jazzbeat Project is directed by composer and jazz-musician Anders Johansson and it unites the new elite of the swedish jazz scene with e.g. Alexandra Engstršm Johansson (vocals), Marcus Lindfeldt (double bass), Jonas Wall (sax & bass clarinet), Nils Janson (trumpet), Arne Tengstrand (fender rhodes), Jouni Haapala (percussion) and Patric Andersson (sampler). The band follows the ambition to tie together modern electronic elements with club music and organic jazz to a unique sound and groove experience. In 2007 the Stockholm Jazzbeat Project achieved great success with their debut album „Stockholm Jazzbeat Project“. The album was placed in all european iTunes jazz charts in the Top 30 for half a year. It featured terrific jazz music with distinctive sounds and laid-back grooves. The new album of Stockholm Jazzbeat Project „No Story Goes Untold“ is a sequal to the debut on highest standart. It boasts with deepness and emotional insistency.
