Azzem with Mayhemystics II is the second album between MC Azeem and The Variable Unit Band. Azeem's lyrics are sometimes poignant, sometime transcendent, but always articulate and honest. The Variable Unit band behind him consists of Keyboardist Jacob Aginsky (Martin Medeski and Wood), Thomas McCree, Bassist Matt Montgomery, Gregory Howe, Omega (Blackalicious), DJ Zeph and DJ Quest.
