'From the Michigan Floor' is a psychedelic folk album by Monster Island, a group founded in Detroit by members Cary Loren (Destroy All Monsters), Matthew Smith (Outrageous Cherry), Erika Hoffmann and Warn Defever (His Name is Alive).This is a re-issue of the groups first album, recorded in 1995 and released on vinyl by Ecstatic Peace! In addition to the 11 original tracks there are 11 bonus tracks, that have never been released before.
