BLUEGRASS

Scott Vestal was the featured banjo player on many of Pinecastle's Bluegrass series recordings and has established his reputation as being among the finest players in the bluegrass genre. However, for great musicians, being the best in their genre often isn't enough and Scott Vestal is simply a great musician regardless of genre. For his first solo release, Vestal wanted to break down the barriers between bluegrass and other genres of music. Millenia, follows in the vein of Bela Fleck crossing over into the Jazz realm to bring a bit of variety to Pinecastle's catalog.
