Description
A contemporary jazz band suite inspired by yoga philosophy, Foundations explores mindfulness through music. Employing both Eastern and Western perspectives, it is a strongly structured piece with many layers and guided improvisations that reflect Yamas and Niyamas, the first two tenets of yogic existence. Modern Art Orchestra's world premiere recording is led by the composer, Kornél Fekete-Kovács.
