The record consists of 7 tracks balancing between mid-tempo tunes and ultrasound blast - beats. Their music is cold and the feelings they create throw you in a black hole. Everything is in a state of anarchy. The atmosphere is dark, grim, and dismal. Not convinced, yet? Well, here we go. Their sound is kinda different from what we are used to. It's a crossbreed of classic black metal and post -punk, creating a unique hybrid, totally authentic but at the same time fully artistic (something you don't come across often). The guitar riffing is on high notes but clear, without overusing distortion so that you can actually distinguish what is being played, unlike many other black metal bands, in which you have no idea if you listen to a guitar or an elephant during mating season. Furthermore, the bass lines are distinctive, clearly hears, which as a matter of fact, is a very pleasing feature. Contrary to what some of you may expect, the drums are not loud and deafening. Pounding snares, soft, stable kicking in slower tracks, faster d - beats and blasts on quicker songs. Everything is in great proportion. The vocals on the tracks seem to come from a torture dungeon, where a deranged soul is being tormented. At times, I found myself hurting, aching by the screams, even though I couldn't understand the - deeply atheist as I'm informed - lyrics (I need to freshen up my French).
It is profound that this is a great work. All instruments are played with high skills. You can see that the band uses many ideas perplexed in their own spectrum.
