Description
Wayne Coniglio (bass trombone, tenor trombone) has developed a completely unique approach to jazz as a bass trombonist. This release marks the debut release for him. Wayne has appeared on numerous recordings and DVDs including as a member of the legendary Ray Charles touring band where he was the bass trombonist, soloist and contributing writer for the legendary Charles.
One of the best trombonists on the scene today, Scott Whitfield is internationally recognized for his work with many contemporary big bands, includingToshiko Akiyoshi, Johnny Mandel, the late Bob Florence, and the Clare Fischer Big Band, as well as his own Scott Whitfield Jazz Orchestra.
