1-CD with 12-page booklet, 31 tracks. Playing time approx. 73 mns
The forerunner of the Four Seasons, the Lovers included Frankie Valli, Nick and Tommy DeVito, and Hank Majewski. When they were signed to RCA, they recorded vocal group classics, R&B hits and a couple of country songs. All of their singles flopped at the time and are now among the rarest and most sought-after singles from the era.
Titles include Such A Night, Diddley Diddly Babe, Shake A Hand, Please Don't Leave Me, The Stranger, San Antonio Rose, Night Train, Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Jambalaya, Honey Love, and a rockabilly treatment of White Christmas
