Back on CrossCut after 20 years: Franck Goldwasser, guitarist, singer and songwriter, born in Paris who emigrated to the USA in 1983.
Franck has worked with just about every major blues musician on the West Coast, a legend like Charlie Musselwhite speaks highly of him!
No exaggeration to say Franck is among the icons of urban electric blues - his way of playing guitar is individual, always innovative, passionate, cutting, full of unexpected surprises and above all: soulful.
The songs on 'Who Needs This Mess !!?' reflect Franck's life and experiences, describing grievances in the US and elsewhere. The core of the studio recordings released here for the first time were made between 2019 and 2021 in Ventura, California.
