A stunning collaboration of heartfelt cello and orchestral keyboard arrangements that open the heart and soothe the soul.

When Steven and David performed together in concert in 1989 at the International Transpersonal Psychology Conference, they knew they were destined to make an album. (Due to scheduling conflicts, it took 20 years to meet in the studio.)

In David's hands, the glorious resonances of the cello's low register soar up to angelic highs. Alas, there wasn't enough music for a full album. Scheduling conflicts and health issues postponed a second session. However, their collaboration continued posthumously after David's unexpected passing (1941-2021). Steven was guided on the inner planes to meticulously edit together fragments of existing phrases and weave them into tracks that David didn't play on at all.

Steven wondered: Was David offering assistance from the other side? The results are breathtakingly beautiful. Whatever the source of the inspiration, the results speak eloquently for themselves.

Key tracks feature ascending arpeggios and soulful melodies surrounded by lush arrangements of Steven's Rhodes electric piano, grand and multiple additional keyboards. After the catastrophic fires in Maui, 'Requiem for Lahaina and Whalesong' was added for fundraising purposes, and was chosen as the soundtrack of healing ceremonies on Maui.
