'Skeletons', the new offering from Australia's Damon Smith is primarily a piano-centric, New Orleans-style blues/jazz record.

'Damon is a multiple award-winning singer-songwriter, music producer, writer, instrumentalist, filmmaker, and performer from Perth, now living in Melbourne.

As a musician and singer, Smith's performances are punctuated with expert musicianship and razor-sharp wit, creating a hugely dynamic stage presence. His virtuosic piano style, original songs, and 'whiskey as' voice serve stylistically, as a nod and a wink to the likes of Dr. John, Nina Simone, Donny Hathaway & Hank Williams, and Harry Connick Jr.

Smith has an extensive performance history playing at countless theatres, pubs, clubs, and festivals across Australia and internationally, and has written and published numerous songs, composed music for ballet,
written story-based, music cabaret shows and has released several original albums that defy genres including Blues, Alt-country, World music, Folk, Rock and roll, and even comedy.
As a hobby filmmaker, In a COVID-ravaged 2021, Damon debuted his film, Mental As Everything, after being selected for screening at Cinema Nova as part of the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival. The film has since been selected for numerous film festivals around the world, winning awards in the 'Chicago Filmness Festival' and 'This Is My Brave Festival. MAE was also a finalist in the MDFF.
In 2022, Smith's record, Skeletons Skeletons Skeletons, debuted at #2 on the Australian Blues and Roots Charts and has been nominated for an Age/Music Victoria Award. He has also signed with American Label, Mo'Mojo Records which will see his music distributed through the USA and internationally. '
