Description
The first and most popular all-female metal band explores their 90's roots and their 25 years of breaking through barriers.
In the late 90's when sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander formed an all-female metal band in London, Ontario, little did they know Kittie would explode on to MTV and the radio, become a pop culture phenomenon, and sell millions of records worldwide...while they were still in high school. This film captures that experience, explores the time period, and is packed with rare never before released concert footage, behind the scenes recording studio tape, and backstage video from being out on tour. Includes footage from all eras of the band - members both past and present were interviewed. The band is now celebrating their 25th anniversary and still tours for a significant and devoted fan base. A unique look at pop culture, music, and feminism in modern times.
