You'll not be disappointed in this new release from the electrifying Buck Owens. The songs are complete, not medleys as was his mainstay in the earlier years. The man was riding high with a career resurgence when this was recorded, thanks in part to Dwight Yoakam but also the sheer vitality of the Bakersfield Sound. Buck states he is a little hoarse but you can't tell as he sounds absolutely amazing, the band is tight and it's just hit after hit with no corny jokes. This is vintage Buck Owens at his best
