SRS Cinema

For more than three decades, SRS Cinema has championed the wild, weird and fiercely independent side of genre filmmaking. Founded in 1992, the label has built an extensive catalog of underground horror, science fiction, cult movies, shot-on-video obscurities and low-budget independent cinema, providing an outlet for filmmakers and films that thrive outside the mainstream. Its releases range from contemporary indie horror and rediscovered cult favorites to the work of prolific underground filmmakers including the Polonia Brothers, along with an expanding selection of international genre cinema.

SRS Cinema has also become a destination for fans of kaiju and tokusatsu, bringing unusual and previously difficult-to-find Japanese monster films to physical media alongside its deep roster of horror, creature features, exploitation and B-movies. Whether preserving an obscure shot-on-video production, introducing a new independent filmmaker or uncovering a monster movie rarely seen outside its country of origin, SRS remains committed to the kind of adventurous genre filmmaking that has defined the company since its earliest days.

MVD Entertainment Group is the exclusive North American distributor for SRS Cinema, bringing the label's distinctive catalog to retailers and collectors throughout the United States and Canada.
