By the time Aaron Young was just 23 years old, he had already produced, arranged and performed on over 15 albums. It was clear that music was going to be his future. With eclectic influences ranging from Randy Rhodes and Ricky Skaggs to Jim Croce and Ozzy Osborne, Aaron went on to tour the world with the world-beat stage show Barrage for 5 years.

Since then, Aaron Young has become a name to watch in Canada. Having worked with popular groups such as the Polyjesters, Sillan & Young, and Johanna Sillanpaa in a variety of capacities, Aaron is definitely a man of many talents. He is a triple threat making his mark as an accomplished song-writer, an in-demand producer, and virtuoso guitarist. He has graced the stages of North America and Europe as well having performed on PBS, CBC, MTV and the BBC. Not bad for a kid from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Aaron has finally put all of these talents together for his own project to create his long anticipated solo album, 'Works'. This new CD is a beautiful solo effort. With this new CD, Aaron pays homage to his musical idols and influences through beautiful original
pieces, and honest interpretations of some swing and roots classics. There are beautiful interpretations of Lennon & McCartney pieces such as Yesterday and Norwegian Wood, as well as classic songs from artists such as Chet Atkins and A.P. Carter.

Aaron brings his own unique sound and style to the music on 'Works'. The album is an acoustic guitar lovers dream. His playing has been described as 'virtuosic' and 'unique within the guitar world'.
