Activa - Movement: One (CD)

It's now time to develop this further with Movement: One.

In the last few years a shift in trance styles and sub-genres has been developing, with a more
'traditional' style of trance starting to resurface.
Activa, one of the main proponents of this shift, has been developing a foundation from which to give
develop the sound, from re-starting the Borderline label, to releasing the Tri-Series, which saw an LP
of music, specifically made for vinyl, to the Origins album released on Black Hole.
It's now time to develop this further with Movement: One.
The project has been approached with a number of specifics in mind, from the exclusivity and quality
of the music, to the flow of both mixes, the release formats, to the design direction.
Including brand new and exclusive music from the likes of Maria Healy, Marcos, Jaron Inc and Activa
himself, both discs develop from groovy progressive and take you on that long lost journey to quality
melodic trance music, all based on Activa's personal experience of the genre and its history.
Physical formats were important, with streaming specifically restricted to 'mix cuts' only therefore
preserving the intended way to listen, on those platforms.
Even the design was linked to Activa's experience, using the legendary The Designers Republic
(Gatecrasher, Warp and Satoshi Tomeii to name but a few!) to create the artwork direction that could
make the whole project iconic, and boy, did they deliver!
