Description
The Vibrators' Knox and Hanoi Rocks 1984 collaboration album with bonus disc, in limited edition ochre & blue vinyl 2LP
The unique 1984 collaboration. The original album, with bonus disc of singles & bonus tracks, in limited edition ochre and blue vinyl. Gatefold sleeve with Knox and Hanoi Rocks' Sami Yaffa (later of the New York Dolls) interviewed in notes by late Melody Maker writer Carol Clerk.
In 1984 the Finnish glam-metal band Hanoi Rocks were signed to CBS and about to hit the charts. But they found themselves with a few weeks off. Meanwhile The Vibrators were also taking a break, and Knox had some great new songs sitting there waiting for fate to intervene. It did, and they got together for this much-lauded, very enjoyable album. It was released shortly before Hanoo Rocks' drummer Razzle was killed in a drink-driving accident by Motley Crue's Vince Neil, resulting in the band splitting up.
