It's been quite a journey for Jeff Johnson - from his early days with Chicago late 80s modern rock trio Chalk Farm, to his 90s dance club hits ('How Deep Is Your Love,' 'Whenever You're Lonely' and 'One More Chance') to this long-awaited debut solo album. On Shine, Johnson lends his distinctive voice to songs of love and loss, hope and sorrow, aspiration and acceptance, with the ultimate message that we all have our own unique role to fill - we all can shine.
