Black Metal bands from Cuba are rare. The truth is: there is only one Black Metal band who got attention from outside the country's borders. NARBELETH! After the one man band of Dakkar was only known by lovers of exotic bands, the second album 'A Hatred Manifesto' made NARBELETH a known name in the Black Metal underground. The Folter Records debut proved that it is possible to create dark art in the Caribean, containing an intensity that most modern artists seem to have lost.
Also on their third album 'Through Blackness, and Remote Plasces', NARBELETH stand for uncompromising Black Metal influenced by the Scandinavian classics of the early 90's. The absolute passion for this genre makes NARBELETH in 2015 one of the most promising underground bands. At latest their show at Under The Black Sun 2014 showed that NARBELETH are also a great live band.
