Prof. Longhair was born 1918 in Bogalusa, LA. He was the father of New Orleans R&B. 1949 he recorded his first songs and until his death in 1980, he recorded for different labels and played at different labels and on festivals. On this CD are all his hits like âTipatinaâ or âGo to the Mardi Grasâ .
