Shelflife presents the new mini-LP from Spain's When Nalda Became Punk
Shelflife presents the new six track mini-LP from Spain'sWhen Nalda Became Punk entitled Those Words Broke Our Heartscoming March 10th on limited edition 10' vinyl and digital formats.
The new mini-LP was recorded and produced in Vigo (Spain) by Bruno Murmura. 'Hanging Out With Imogen', the first single is a pure-pop song filled with energetic jangly guitars and bittersweet synths. 'Long before' takes us into that kind of sadness and melancholy that impregnates albums from Sarah Records. On the other hand, 'Big Whoop' and its uplifting guitar lines and vocal harmonies, is full of light and hope. 'New Year's Day', with its catchy synth chorus, brings back the nostalgic feeling that sometimes hits you at the end and start of another year. 'Angela' is a direct, immediate pop song, about the teenage anxiety of trying to live for the moment and doesn't spoil any second of life. 'A Midnight Run' closes the mini-LP, a spoken word song with hypnotic music and a story narrated by the deep voice of Edward Forth from the English indiepop band Finmark.
When Nalda Became Punk continue to lead the new chapter of brilliant Spanish bands and we're pleased to help bring their music to the world.
