Batila is a songwriter living in Berlin. He is the child of Congolese-Angolan parents and grew up between Berlin and London. Batila's music (Batila means protector) is 'soulphisticated, colourful and lively'. Besides Congolese roots, there is also a touch of R&B and soft, jazzy vibes. In addition to numerous live concerts all over the world, his debut album 'Tatamana' is now scheduled for release in 2021, which was recorded between Berlin and Kinshasa in the DRC.
