Charley Patton is considered to be one of the foremost influential bluesmen of the pre war period. The influence that he had on the generations of blues lovers to come is astronomical. Volume three features the last nine sides released on the Paramount label and twelve sides which Charley recorded for the American Record Company and released on the Vocalion label. Henry Sims is on many tracks.
