For the latests in the Smalls Live series, highly regarded NYC pianist David Kikoski reunites his stellar trio--featuring the legendary Billy Hart on drums and the great Joe Martin on bass--with longtime friend and collaborator Randy Brecker as special guest, for a raw, live-in-the-room session.

A highly regarded jazz pianist, Kikoski, emerged in New York jazz scene in 1980s and quickly established himself as a go-to performer working with top players like Roy Haynes, Bob Berg, Randy Brecker and many others. Kikoski is known for his adept post-bob style and spontaneous swinging play. He has been playing with the Mingus Big Band and Dynasty since early 1990s.

This new album on Cellar Music captures an intimate conversation between four friends--drawing from shared history, mutual trust, and a commitment to the moment.
