Philly Doom Death Metal

Moros is a death doom metal band from Philadelphia formed in 2015.
Featuring Jason Dost (guitar/vocals), John Hauser (bass), and Mike Howard (drums), their sound merges the crushing heaviness of death metal with the melancholic atmospheres of doom. Influenced by Coffins, Noothgrush, Autopsy, Cannibal Corpse, and Burning Witch, Moros has released two EPs (Life Assisted Suicide and High as Fuck and Ready to Die), a full-length album (Weapon) and collaborated on split releases with Black Urn and Lithotome. They've shared stages with Blood Incantation, Danzig, Undergang, Devil Master, and more.
Their newest offering, Recrudescent Horror, is the first with new drummer Mike Howard. It showcases a refined sound that delves deeper into death metal while staying true to its brutal, doomy roots.
