NY drummer Noonan's 'tribal rhythms by an Irish griot' band is one-of-a-kind jazz/blues/rock/soul/world fusion, adding Celtic and West African song-forms, lyrics, melodic content and instrumental approaches to the mix, and featuring Marc Ribot, Aram Bajakian and Jon Madof (guitars), Mat Maneri (viola), and vocalists Abdoulaye Diabaté, Thierno Camara, Susan McKeown and Dawn Padmore.
