This limited-edition release features three vividly colored soft-vinyl dolls of band members Ira, Georgia, and James--each reimagined as fantastical beings inhabiting Woodring's psychedelic dream world known as "The Tree." Sculpted by Japanese master artist Tomohiro Yasui, the figures stand approximately 3.5 to 4 inches tall and are packaged together in a stunning 300mm x 300mm blister display designed by Woodring himself, complete with a bonus comic on the back.
Included is a region-free DVD featuring a 5-minute hand-drawn animated short created by Japan's acclaimed animation studio drop, featuring an original score written and performed by Yo La Tengo. The film expands Woodring's mythic universe--a kaleidoscopic realm of sound, color, and imagination where past, present, and future blur into one ecstatic vision.
