Al Foster with his Quintet of Aron Goldberg & George Callaghan, Eli Degibri, Doug Weiss & Dr Eddie Henderson at the New Morning from July 2007. Foster is known for his unique ability to listen to and play off others in an almost telepathic way. A member of the Miles Davis band for thirteen years, Foster's contribution to Miles' music is articulated by Davis himself in his 1989 autobiography.
