Italian pianist Antonio Faraò & French trumpeter Stéphane Belmondo lead a 4tet of aces through 9 original compositions in a spontaneous, lyrical jazz

Do It! is the fruit of an exceptional encounter between two of Europe's most celebrated jazz voices: Italian pianist Antonio Faraò, renowned for his virtuosity and acute melodic sensibility, and French trumpeter Stéphane Belmondo, one of the most expressive brass voices of his generation.
Their collaboration rests on total mutual listening and a shared respect for the language of jazz. With no need for lengthy rehearsals, the two leaders construct a spontaneous sonic world, rich in nuance and emotion. Faraò's original compositions -- steeped in lyricism and sincerity -- find a natural echo in the warm sound and sensitivity of Belmondo, whose trumpet work ranges from tender introspection to soaring expressiveness.
Around them, a solid and subtle rhythm section completes the balance: the robust and warm double bass of Thomas Bramerie, and the inspired drumming of Benjamin Henocq, whose precision and sense of groove underpin the collective conversation throughout.
Together, the quartet celebrates the freedom of jazz playing, improvisation as a shared language, and the emotional depth that only musicians of this calibre are able to convey.
