This 4CD set contains all eight albums master tenor saxophonist Arnett Cobb released on the Prestige label in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Arnett Cleophus Cobb was an American jazz tenor saxophonist, sometimes known as the 'Wild Man of the Tenor Sax' because of his uninhibited stomping style. This 4CD set contains all eight albums he released on Prestige during his heyday in the late 1950s and early 1960s, providing a delightful introduction to the great man's music and a fine reminder for those already somewhat familiar.
