Benny Turner pays tribute to his big brother and best friend, Freddie King

My Brother's Blues received a silver medal for outstanding achievement in the Global Music Awards and was a 16th Independent Music Awards nominee in the 'Tribute Album' category.
Freddie King's band, then for Mighty Joe Young and lastly for Marva Wright. However, his roots and influence in gospel music are also noteworthy. A member of the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame and winner of the Independent Music Awards Best Blues Song, Turner is also a 2018 Blues Music Award Nominee in the Bass Instrumentalist category.
