Best of Rockpalast Vol. 2 is yet another best-of compilation from this legendary German TV series, which has been bringing the magic of live concerts into European living rooms since the mid-1970s. Best of Rockpalast Vol. 2 once again offers electrifying live moments from over four decades of Rockpalast history.

A look at the highlights

• Wishbone Ash: the heroes of the twin guitars are considered one of the most innovative rock bands of the 1970s.

• Muddy Waters: he was one of the most influential American blues musicians. Rolling Stone magazine ranks him 17th on its list of the 100 greatest artists of all time. />
• 38 Special: with a blend of Southern rock and hard rock elements, the band achieved its greatest commercial success in the 1980s.

• Robert Gordon & Link Wray: in the late 1970s, Robert Gordon made the shrewd move of bringing surf guitar and rockabilly legend Link Wray into his band. In June 1978, they recorded a legendary concert for 'Rockpalast.'

• Canned Heat: 'Are you ready to boogie?' - Fito de la Parra and Larry Taylor played the blues and boogie so masterfully at Bonn's Biskuithalle that, as always, it was a delight to enjoy all their hits and much more.
