Featuring Ronan Robert on diatonic accordion, Raphaël Chevalier on violin and Ronan Le Gouriérec on baritone sax and bombard, BivOAc represents quite a singular voice in Breton music. Based on original pieces composed by the band members, their music leaves pride of place to improvisation with not-so veiled references to Coltrane, Hendrix, Zappa, and even funk or Balkan music.
