This boisterous and energetic release features the power trio of Charly Antolini (drums), Wolfgang Schmid (bass), and Nippy Noya (percussion). It was produced by Wolfgang Michael 'Woomy' Schmidt and recorded at JK's Mastermix, Unterfohring, Germany. Antolini has played in traditional and swing bands with European, expatriate and visiting American players. He began in Switzerland with Bill Coleman in the '50s, and has been a bandleader, session man, and played with Lionel Hampton and Benny Goodman in the '80s. This release from the 21st century displays his musical longevity and creativeness.
