The Cheap Freaks are reminiscent of Garage Rock bands of the 60's and 70's. MC-5, Stooges and Shadows of the Night.

The Cheap Freaks formed in Dublin in October of 2008. They are the byproduct of Rob Brady from the Things and a fellow Dubliner Alan Dodd. The both of them were just playing around with a sound and a couple songs, but, near the end of the reign of the Things, several items were not working so; Rob and Alan finally said it's time to be a band and started playing out.

The 4 songs are reminiscent of the great Garage Rock bands of the 60's and 70's. MC-5, Stooges, Shadows of the Night, and then they threw in some amazing current punk rock n roll. This record bleeds rock n roll, bleeds punk rock, bleeds music off the edges of its vinyl. 4 phenomenal songs from a brand new band newly raised from the grave.
