Chiara Bertoglio enters this new adventure of hers - after the one that sees her protagonist in 'Bach and Italy' - in a repertoire that is extremely little frequented by piano literature, oratories and sacred repertoire both original and transcribed for piano. In the context of the transcription we find the well-known Haydni oratorio 'Seven last words of Christ' in the version of Carl Czerny while in the original context the rare and little listened to Biblische Bilder by Carl Reinecke. An unprecedented experience of the sacred, brought to light by one of the most refined and sensitive interpreters of this repertoire.
