Youlden's unique blues vocals contributed hugely to Savoy Brown's most successful albums and international recognition but, he rarely performed again after leaving them except for a Sunday night residency at Dingwalls in the 80s with this band. Luckily, these previously analogue studio recordings survived as a lasting testament to one of the great voices of the British blues scene.
