Irith Gabriely and Colalaila - Klezmer Fiesta

Irith Gabriely was born in Israel of a father of Polish origin and a
mother from Vienna who were lucky to escape the Holocaust. She has had a
very thorough classical education and has and still is a member of a
Symphony Orchestra, currently of the Darmstadt Symphony Orchestra.She
also won a prestigious German classical award as clarinetist. She was
introduced to Klezmer by the Godfather of Klezmer music Giora Feidmann
and with her group Colalaila became the most renown Klezmer Group in
Europa.This cd contains a number of original tracks as well as classics
like Hava Nagila and If I Where A Rich Man. All their releases have been
selling extremely well all over Europe and this not only in the Jewish
community.
