Majestic reissue of a masterpiece of Italian Electronic Dark Wave with an incredible and unique atmosphere

The tracks for 'Io e L'Altro' (the Self and the Other) were all made in 1995. The album arose from a chronically ill state caused by panic attacks. The shape of a person is always the same, but his being is devastated. The inspiration for the album comes from the interaction between the personality before and after these attacks. Recorded and mixed in 1995, it was audio restored and mastered by orghanon in 2014.
COLLOQUIO is well known for exploring the territories between electronic/wave sounds and the italian songwriting tradition.
'Io E L'Altro' represents one of the early examples of their soundscapes. As many say nobody sounds and sings the inadequacy of this life like Gianni does. There's something more than mere 'music' in his records and there's more than simple 'poetry' in his words. Who loves last COLLOQUIO's efforts like 'L'entrata - L'uscita' or the previous one 'Si Muove E Ride', will need to find the basis and roots of that majestic sound in this old but always contemporary output that will be greatly enjoyed.
